CYNTHIA-REEVES, a contemporary art gallery located on the campus of MASS MoCA, hosts an exhibition featuring work by twelve women artists entitled FOREFRONT 2020. The exhibition opens to the public on February 15th and runs through March 25th.
The thematic link among the various artists whose work is included in the FOREFRONT exhibition expresses a narrative about how women experience their daily lives….as mothers, as partners, as creators, immigrants, transplants. This theme is evoked both explicitly and implicitly, through conceptually based installations and video, painting and sculpture.
